This guide outlines the actions required from you as a customer to successfully activate and use the Dstny VoipCube Zendesk integration.
Introduction
Users get a pop-up of matched contacts/customers. Recent tickets are shown and it's possible to log a ticket from the pop-up or add a note to the newly created ticket. There is also the option to automatically create a new customer if no results are found.
Example pop-up without automatic ticket creation:
This has the option to create one or more tickets assigned to the (first) found customer/contact.
Example pop-up with automatic ticket creation and automatic customer creation:
This has the option to create one or multiple notes to the newly created ticket that is assigned to the (first) found customer/contact.
CRM Configuration
OAuth Client
1. Go to the Zendesk Admin center ({subdomain}.zendesk.com/admin/home)
2. Go to Apps and Integrations > APIs > OAuth Clients > Add OAuth ClientGo to the Zendesk Admin center ({subdomain}.zendesk.com/admin/home)
3. Enter a client name, company, logo and unique identifier. Note down the unique ID
4. The unique identifier can be any word or text
5. Client kind should be set to Confidential
6. Make sure the Redirect URL is set to include https://voipcube.nl/authorize
7. Note down your secret
Agent Configuration
Add your internal number to your Zendesk agent profile as a tag to make sure the integration works.
You can find the internal number in the VoIPcube portal.
Without the internal number assigned to the user in Zendesk, the integration will not work!!
Integration Assignment
Note down the Subdomain of your environment, you need it for the right configuration URL's

Once the steps are finished, Dstny will need information about the Client Secret and Sub Domain. Please send these to your delivery coordinator in the same email thread.
After that, Dstny will be able to finalize the activation of the Zendesk Integration with VoipCube. Dstny will notify you as soon as everything is ready for you to begin!
