Call Recording

Dstny offers a flexible and powerful call recording solution to meet different needs. There are three available recording types:

Types of Call Recording

  • Personal Call Recording:
    • Based on a media server
    • Users can manually start and stop recordings
    • Recordings are accessible directly from MyDstny
  • Call Recording Pro:
    • Supports pause/resume and on-demand
    • Recordings are accessible via a separate portal
  • Call Recording Automatic:
    • Similar to Call Recording Pro
    • Does not support on-demand
    • Recordings are accessed in the external portal

All three types are supported within MyDstny, and the options available in the call widget depend on your setup.

Call Widget Options

  • Save / Unsaved Recording
  • Pause / Resume Recording

Accessing Recorded Calls

  • End users can access the recordings via the recording portal.
  • The link to the portal is located in the left-hand menu under Recordings.

Depending on your account type:

  • Call Recording (Automatic or Pro): You will be redirected to the external recording portal.
  • Personal Recording Only: A list of your recordings will be displayed inside MyDstny. These can be played just like voicemail messages.

Note: The available features depend on your company's configuration and assigned user rights.
