Messaging – Email, SMS & Chat
Email Communication
When clicking on a contact's email address during a call, your default email client will automatically open. The recipient's address is pre-filled, and call information is added to the body of the message.
SMS Communication
MyDstny allows you to send SMS messages directly from the interface – both during and outside of calls.
During a call
- Send SMS messages while a call is ongoing.
- If multiple calls are active, you can choose which call information to include in the message.
When not in a call
- Click the SMS icon to open a new message window.
- Send messages to up to 25 recipients at once.
- If enabled in Dstny PBX, you can select the sender before sending.
Chat Communication
The chat feature is available to all users with a chat license. It supports both individual and group communication.
Chat Features
- Chat with colleagues and receive notifications for unread messages.
- See if a message has been read.
- Reply to, edit, and forward messages.
- React with emojis.
