MyDstny - Settings

In the Settings section, you manage your profile, call settings, audio, language, and shortcuts. This allows you to tailor the experience to your needs.

Profile

In the profile section, you can:

  • Change your avatar (profile picture)
  • Update your role/title
  • View personal information

Tip: After changing your profile picture, refresh the page to see the updated image in the top right corner.

Forwarding by Status

For each status (e.g. "Meeting”, “Lunch”), you can set up unconditional call forwarding. You can:

  • Forward calls to an external number or a contact
  • Send calls directly to voicemail (if activated)

The last forwarding setting is saved automatically — you just need to activate it when needed. Active forwarding is visible in the top menu.

Note: If forwarding is set from another device, it may take up to 2 minutes before it's visible in MyDstny.

Language & Time Zone

In this tab, you can set:

  • Language: Affects the entire MyDstny interface
  • Time zone: Used to display the correct time for calls and messages
  • Date & Time format: Only visible in MyDstny (not in external integrations)

Audio Settings

You can adjust and test the following audio devices:

  • Microphone
  • Speaker during calls
  • Speaker for incoming call alerts (ringtone)

Keyboard Shortcuts

In this section, you can define your own shortcuts for various functions. If a shortcut is already in use, a warning will appear.

Note: Shortcuts in the browser are not the same as in the softphone client. Common commands like CTRL+C and CTRL+P may not work here.

Applications and Portal Link

Desktop Application (Mac & Windows)

You can download the MyDstny desktop app directly from my.dstny.se. Once the installation file (.exe, .msi or .dmg) is downloaded, open it and follow the instructions.

The application provides access to all MyDstny functions without needing a browser.

Manage Mobile Application

If your mobile device is configured in the system, you can activate the Dstny app by receiving an SMS with an installation link.



  • The SMS contains a unique configuration link.
  • If you switch phones, you can request a new SMS to reinstall the app.
  • For security reasons, the link can be revoked if needed.
